Dr Prerna Mittal qualified in Medicine in 2002 and then progressed on to do her General Practice training from Oxford Deanery. During this she gained experience working in NHS Hospitals in various specialities e.g. general medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, family planning, women’s health, palliative care and adult psychiatry and later continued to work in the Reading area until she took a career break to have her children in 2010. Dr Mittal is a fully registered member of General Medical Council with licence to practice. She is also a member of British College of Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr Mittal has long had an interest in the cosmetic and aesthetic medicine industry realising she has an eye for symmetry and balance, through experience in minor surgery as a GP. Dr Mittal trained in both facial and body aesthetics at the well renowned and prestigious Institute of London (Medics Direct Training Academy, Harley Street) in early 2015 allowing her to set up her own practice in Stoke Poges and Harley Street.
Dr Mittal ensures all patients are fully informed about any procedure and have a realistic expectation of the outcome, understanding that the treatment will vary for every client and discussing any concerns or questions they may have. All appointments start with understanding the patient’s requirements and the treatments offered are considered to be both effective and safe as Dr Mittal as a member of the medical profession has a responsibility to practice and follow a strict code of ethics and stringent standards of hygiene and techniques.
All patients are treated with the utmost confidentiality and care and Dr Mittal believes very much in a natural look without causing loss of expression or the ‘plastic’ look.
